Albo (ft. Chalmers) just reformed the tax system for everyone except himself. Both his investment properties are grandfathered, so he keeps the negative gearing. His old Marrickville place is CGT free under the 6 year rule. And his parliamentary pension, pre 2004, around $350k a year indexed for life, no caps, no Division 293, no transfer balance limit, didn't get a mention. He's happy to tax aspirational Gen Y/Z capital gains to plug the deficit while drawing a retirement no normal worker could ever touch. That's not reform mate, that's intergenerational protection racket.

I'll be clear - One Nation won't support huge changes that have been rushed through Parliament. It's all so the Prime Minister can justify calling everyone back to Canberra early which will cost millions of dollars.

Brand new bills have only been published this morning. There are substantial changes to the draft released last week and no one has seen these changes before, including at the Parliamentary inquiry.

Where is the leadership? The people deserve to be consulted and informed when big changes to our freedom of expression are being made. We're not getting transparency or accountability from Labor, the Coalition or the Greens.

BREAKING: The Australian is reporting that @sussanley and the Liberals have agreed to support Albanese's Hate Groups Bill. This is DISTURBING on so many levels.

1) This bill has been rushed and the views of Australians have not been considered. Over 7,000 Australians made submissions about the bill which have not been considered.

2. Overnight 2 million Australians emailed MPs with concerns about the bill via Turning Point Australia's portal and their views have been completed sidelined.

3. Labor has guillotined debate in the Senate which means there will not be proper time for debate as they have drastically cut debate time today so that a vote will be forced to happen.

4. Leaving aside the serious procedural defects in the way this has been rushed, there are bigger substantive problems with this bill as it gives the Minister for Home Affairs extraordinary new powers to designate a group of Australians a "hate group" and introducing 15 year prison sentences for anyone associated with the group.

Of our political leaders @PaulineHansonOz is the only one who has remained consistently against these huge and unprecedented attacks on Australian freedom.
