โ๏ธ Supreme Court sentences China's OTC Cryptocurrency King to 7 years in prison
โ๏ธ China's Supreme Court declares China's OTC cryptocurrency king Zhao Dong has been sentenced to prison.
Crypto pressure continues to increase in China, which is known for its bans and negative attitudes towards Bitcoin (BTC).
Accordingly, the Chinese news agency weixin, the Supreme Court of China has announced the penalties that the Chinese crypto OTC king Zhao Dong and his team must receive.
Zhao Dong was sentenced to 7 years in prison for illegal business and currency trading.
The newspaper also revealed that Dong is the founder of RenrenBit, a cryptocurrency lending platform and a small shareholder of Bitfinex.
The judgment that the Chinese Supreme Court handed down to Dong is a sign of China's repressive attitude and regulatory efforts towards the cryptocurrency industry.
Finally, Zhao Dong is considered one of the most important factors of the cryptocurrency industry in China and is also known as the king of OTC cryptocurrencies in China.
