by almost every metric, everything we saw in #Ethereum from 2017/2018 will be made to look like a small blip along the journey
and the scars of the bear market will be rendered invisible when zooming out
this time isn't different™
@LUKACACIC I'm a Btc, ETH, and link guy but to think cardano at the height of a bull run can't obtain a 300 billion dollar market cap, if i expect the total crypto market cap to be 6 trillion, isn't imo out of the realm of possibility seems.
but i guess well see...
Elon Musk owns billions of dollars of bitcoin.
He isn’t selling because of this inaccurate energy narrative.
Don’t watch what they say, just watch what they do with their money.
"Larry Fink better drop dollars then because the dollar is way worse for the environment than #bitcoin is," says @APompliano on environmental concerns about mining #btc.
Western Bitcoin critics enjoy civil liberties and stable currencies.
But billions lack their privilege.
I spoke to @ireaderinokun, @SudanHODL, and @KalKassa to find out why millions in Nigeria, Sudan, Ethiopia and beyond are escaping fiat for Bitcoin:

@CryptoCapo_@LukasCholette - Triple halvening event
- Price action is almost identical to Bitcoin one cycle ago
- Network effect
It could go to 20K for sure, but people are still ignoring these facts due to the high fees.
@dcinvestor this is an extremely uninviting sentiment. if you want adoption you have to stomach the growing pains. do you not want new people to be in the space? this is what crypto has been asking for, this is adoption, no?
"The Fed will have to monetize it. I believe it will have horrible implications for the dollar ... it's more likely than not within 15 years we lose reserve currency status," says legendary investor Stanley Druckenmiller.
The economists predicted that the April jobs report would show +1 million this morning.
Instead, it showed +266k.
If they’re off by almost 75% on a monthly jobs report, how much are they off on other predictions like inflation?
@RemiGMI @Account0505@Account0505 crypto is going to defeat the evils of central banking but if you want to water down some of it or have a fighting chance, we need other important techs like eth and chainlink to do it, that's what imo maxis don't understand.
@noahseidman@CasperRu@GoingParabolic@elonmusk what are u basing this off? in his late 20s began transforming the traditional banking industry. he's a billionaire who receives millions in government funding every year in addition to being the CEO of a publicly traded company and u think he doesn't understand monetary policy?
@daeyoungchoi@tlbtlbtlb or any crypto assett that incorporates deflationary policy into the code
b/c tbh what will be the incentive to continue to mine once the last btc has been mined? it's a good question that the btc community should ponder and discuss more often but what do i know
@daeyoungchoi@tlbtlbtlb as for adoption and it's increase in value, well that's just supply and demand.
about what will happen once the last BTC has been mined. imo I don't think bitcoin truly has a plan for this. adoption of a burning strategy like with ETH EIP1559 i believe is better for long term
