Is a group of crows really a “murder”? The name dates from the 1400s, but scientists call it a flock. And “a parliament of owls” is modern, not medieval. https://t.co/k8afPriKoy
Why is there a k in knight? It used to be said out loud. The b in debt never was: scholars added it to make the word look like Latin. https://t.co/f3AEER4uNl
If you ever want to learn how to play doublegame with everyone, at pro Max level, just study Pakistan.
1) After sending thousands of terrorists to India, they claimed they are victims of terrorism!
2) After getting billions from the US after 9/11 for "fighting terror", they hid Osama bin Laden right next to their military headquarters.
3) After getting billions from Dubai over the years, they bad mouthed UAE when they asked for loan payback.
4) After playing mediator game with Iran, they crossed Iran by signing a Mecca pact with Iran's opponent Saudi Arabia.
5) After promising Saudi Arabia that an attack on one is an attack on all, they simply disappeared when Shia Houthis targeted Saudi, including Mecca!
6) After promising the US that they are negotiating with Iran, Pakistan allegedly helping China to send shoulder fired air defence systems to Iran via land.
7) After using Taliban for anti India terrorism for years, Pakistan bombed Afghan Taliban. Expelled Afghan refugees.
8) After convincing Bangladesh to boycott the T20 Cricket worldcup, they silently joined the WC and played.
The list will reach hundreds of examples if we study deeply and continue.
Remarkable how Pakistanis pull off double crossing after double crossing without any economic or military cost..
In Hindu philosophy, Shruti and Smriti are the two primary categories of sacred texts.
Shruti means "that which is heard" and represents eternal, divinely revealed truth. The Vedas. Forever.
Smriti means "that which is remembered" and represents contemporary tradition, law, and human reflection passed down through memory. These change by Yugas.
And on top of these, there are thousands of bhashyas or commentaries and Guru paramparas (lineages or thought schools).
What anti-Hindus do is to selectively pick a few lines from one of the Smritis, usually something not even applicable for today's Kali Yuga and create a guilt feeling for Hindus.
If you learn the basics of key Sanatana Dharma texts, you can easily call their bluff. Learn one summary paragraph about the key texts like Rig Veda, Yajur Veda, Ramayana (Itihasa), Mahabharata (Itihasa, with Bhagavad Gita in it), Vishnu Purana, Shiva Purana and so on.
The biggest strength of Hindus is that they can pick and choose what they want to practice!! They can worship any form, male or female or something else. They can worship Saguna (with form) or Nirguna (without form) Brahman (supreme power).
There's no central authority forcing you to believe or practice something you don't want to.
Treasure that freedom! Be a proud Dharmic person. When under philosophical attack or in doubt, ask a Guru. Within minutes you will be confident.
