All of us at Marvel Studios are deeply saddened by the passing of Sir Patrick Stewart. Sir Patrick brought Professor Charles Xavier to life with extraordinary grace, intelligence, and humanity, defining the character for generations of fans, from "X-Men" to "Logan" to "Avengers: Doomsday." He was a singular talent, a generous collaborator, and a true gentleman. Our hearts go out to his wife Sunny, his children, his friends, and the countless fans around the world whose lives he touched with his art.
@TaliaGold Tbh first week of owning my Y it avoided a huge accident while I was “testing” FSD on the highway. Since then, it drives my family around 75% of the time.
Tbh I got my first cards in 97-98 as a kid at 11 years old. For me this set is an homage to its 30 years. You may hate it, no hate towards ya. Maybe it’s not made for you? Now I’m having fun ripping packs with my kid, now 11 and it’s a full-circle moment.
I’ll be the one to say it because everyone else is afraid to.
Pokemon’s 30th set is not a good set.
I get it… “it’s fun!, so many good hits!, etc”
Blah blah blah
But in reality… ITS A FULL BLOWN GIMMICK!
Getting a hit in every pack doesn’t make it a good set. It’s simply to celebrate Pokemon. But there is nothing collectible about it.
I barely ripped any of this because I’m not one to dive head first into hype and get burned.
Have fun, but don’t say this its a great set. It’s not really a set.
You pulled a Charizard! Big whoop bro, we all did.
It’s going to be a hard pass on the UPCs for me. I’ll buy the promos and be done with it.
Happy 30th 🫶
Yesterday, I announced this will be my last season watching the NFL.
It’s not just the gambling commercials, Jason Kelce, and the international slopification of the sport.
The game isn’t the same. It’s not close to what made it great. The referees control the game with calls and no-calls, just like the NBA.
There is no flow to a game. The natural energy is gone because almost every play is flagged and/or reviewed.
It feels like I spend 3 hours of my life watching 10 minutes of action that is open to subjective interpretations by officials.
It’s really simple; I am no longer entertained, I am annoyed.
The NFL won’t miss me but I won’t miss them either.
