Then, on September 5 or 6 — depending on your location — it does it again, this time with the waning crescent Moon and Aldebaran.

Each triangle stretches more than 20° across the sky, so you won’t need a telescope to see it. Just look east before sunrise and give your eyes a moment to adjust.
