Metallium has successfully completed a A$75m U.S. strategic capital raise, led by U.S. institutional investors with mandates focused on critical metals, onshoring and domestic processing.
The raise follows key U.S. milestones including Glencore feedstock supply, commissioning at our Texas technology campus, and ADR trading on OTCQX, as we progress toward a planned NASDAQ listing in Q3 2026.
We appreciate the strong support from U.S. institutional investors as we move into commercial execution.

The $UURAF x $MTMCF technology stack is what I’m placing my highest-risk, highest-reward bet on over the next decade.
The risk is obvious: emerging processes, brand new disruptive technology, and scale-up uncertainty…. but so is the upside. If their respective technologies work as intended and reach commercial scale, they have the potential to fundamentally disrupt how rare earths & critical minerals are refined, processed, and recycled, particularly outside of China.
I’m excited to see how these two companies deliver over the next few years. I’m in this for the long haul.
On the other end of the spectrum, $MP is the safest, cleanest, and most straightforward investment in the entire rare earths & critical minerals sector, and my largest position. They operate on a completely different level than every other REE company: in scale, execution, political alignment, and strategic importance. $MP is already deeply embedded in the U.S. critical minerals strategy and is rapidly becoming an indispensable national asset. With vertical integration, expanding downstream capabilities + NdPr magnetic production, and sustained government support, $MP is set for unprecedented growth.
I pivoted my portfolio from mostly Juniors/Mining Companies to Processing/Refining/Recycling Companies. Why?
Refiners and recyclers sit at the true choke point of the rare earth supply chain. Mining alone does not solve the strategic problem… processing does. A mineral deposit has little value until it can be economically separated, refined, and converted into usable materials. That’s where most projects fail.
Unlike mining projects, refiners and recyclers are:
- Less exposed to geological risk, as they don’t need a world-class ore body to succeed.
- Faster to scale, permitting timelines, capex, and construction are often measured in years instead of decades.
- More flexible, they can process feedstock from multiple sources, including scrap, tailings, red mud, and end-of-life magnets
- Better aligned with national security priorities. Governments care more about domestic processing capacity than who owns the rock in the ground.
An emerging industry + new technology + geopolitical tensions = the perfect storm.

China still controls almost all rare earth production & refining but the U.S. is starting to rebuild its own chain:
• $UUUU separating oxides at commercial scale
• $IPX developing new refining tech to lift throughput
• $MP leading U.S. output & expanding into full-cycle processing
• $CRML & $TMRC building integrated mining and refining capacity
