@kennyog And what are the invisible creatures called that knot up your bed linen in your drying machine so it still comes out moist? And how do you get them to move house and get lost?
We are hiring new PhD students! So, if you are interested in doing a PhD in Symmetric-key Cryptography or Quantum Coding and Information Theory, we would love to get an application from you.

We are currently seeking a postdoctoral fellow to establish and develop a research lab at Simula UiB!
See details at https://t.co/Hiqd9zByqB - Apply by 11 Dec 2022
It's actually the IACR board in this instance you need to talk to, as the submission format was made uniform around 2014, if you recall. They'll have to modify the Program Chair Guidelines
@SmartCryptology@matthew_d_green@mccurley@SteDziembowski@crypto_carsten@Cryptomaeher The idea is that the final published version closely matches the submitted version (author info excepted); as Springer will add DOIs, it helps keep the two versions close if the submission already does. Using cryptobib makes inclusion of DOIs straightforward for most references
If you are a researcher in Norway interested in quantum computing, you shouldn’t miss this event, to kick-start discussions on Norway’s QC strategy.
The workshop will be at Simula’s office in Oslo, and our research director Øyvind Ytrehus will speak about quantum-safe crypto.
Just saying that anyone considering submitting to the next transactions of @IacRches volume, for early birds there's also a 6 Oct deadline for @IACReurocrypt at https://t.co/DMdUdh0Hlw instead!! We very much welcome papers from across the crypto community
Together with @NorgesBank and @UiB, we are organising a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) event in Bergen on 21-23 Oct.
One-day conference with talks by experts from industry, government and academia, followed by a 48-hour hackathon. More info at https://t.co/m4sMQVjKsp
I'm looking for a PhD student in symmetric-key cryptography, to join @SimulaUiB team of researchers working on a range of problems in cryptography and information theory (in picturesque Bergen!)
