Now you can buy a .22 rifle for your child. Well, you always could. At least since I’ve been on earth. What’s different, is that now you can get it in a scaled down version of one of the most often used weapons of mass shooting death and destruction: The AR-15.

A company called “Wee1 Tactical” is now producing the JR-15, a weapon that is 20% smaller than the AR-15, and fires a less lethal (but STILL lethal) round.

Sadly, there will be parents who purchase the gun for their child, just to “own the libs.”

In the world of the internet, it won’t be long before that child realizes they own a replica of one of the most often used weapons in mass shootings. (If they didn’t already know that. Many of them do)

They know their parents bought it for them. They’ll know their parents must of known the significance of its design and look, and its grim place in recent US history. They’ll form their own conclusions about what that all means.

Some of them will conclude that their parents quietly support mass shootings. Some of them will use that weapon, or an actual AR-15 to earn the “acceptance” of their Dad/Mom….by killing children at school.

It won’t be all of those kids. It won’t be most of them. It will be a tiny fraction of them. And……in 2022, that “tiny fraction” of people…shot and killed 647 people. The other stats? 647 caskets. 647 hearses. 647 clergymen. Some 1200 parents grieving.

All of that happened in 2022….a year we didn’t yet have the JR-15, so we could create that “AR-15” imprint in minds of children as young a six years old. Previous years tell us this will only add to even more violent acts carried out with guns…particularly the AR-15.

“Owning the libs.” It doesn’t cost all that much…as long as you don’t count human lives. If you do that….the cost is astronomical. That’s exactly why republicans don’t count human lives. They only count profits…and the number of libs that “got owned.”

Trump amplified everything that was ugly. Now, those things are even uglier.
