I had an ugly encounter a few days ago at a

Restaurant I went to eat.

I had just finished eating and went over to the

Counter to make payments.

I reached for my debit card inside my bag and couldn't find it,

The way I was searching crazily for it drew attention to me,

Cos I know that my bank acts crazy most of the time

And I had already eaten, 😢

that card was my only saviour.

When I couldn't find it I decided to try doing

Transfer.

And just like I expected it didn't work

The Management came over to ask what was wrong,

I tried explaining to them that I had forgotten my card and that my bank transfers were failing.

Trying to be understanding, they requested I call

Someone to help me out.

Surprisingly, my friends said they didn't have cash

"You know who your friends are when you are in a dire situation" trust me.

Unknown to me the management already called their security on me.

I was already feeling embarrassed and ashamed

Cause I was being treated like a cheat

It was so traumatizing.

At that moment I wished more businesses adopted blockchain based payment systems,

Which would allow me pay for services using Crypto

Eventually, one of the staffs helped me clear the bill

And I promised to pay her back when next I come back.

On getting home, I was determined

To find projects that can solve this issue.

That's when I started my research
