Very happy to see this! The CSA has been advocating for this for over a decade Minister @PaulCalandra & has worked extensively with @Sflecce and supports his bill 98 changes and looks forward to working with yourself and Minister @ToddSmithPC | @ReycraftDoug@StephJaworski
It was great to speak with education leaders from across the province today to discuss opportunities to make it easier to build new schools faster.
A streamlined municipal land use approvals process would help us build complete communities and ensure students have access to schools close to home.
The @csaont has advocated that when the moratorium is lifted that it be left in place for schools qualifying for the Rural & Northern Education Fund. It would be nice to see @CathyAbraham and @OPSBA agree. Rural and northern schools need that acknowledgment.
Q11. Will the Rural and Northern Education Fund be increased to $50M to meet needs? A11. Min. @Sflecce says the moratorium on school closures will continue. He says the $50M request has been received, it will be considered. Outlines investments. #AMO2022
Thanks for the meeting. It’s critical we continue this chat & convert that commitment to rural & northern schools to policy action. See you at #AMO2022 ! @AMOPolicy
Our government is firmly committed to supporting schools in rural Ontario & the students that depend on them.
Positive chat with @csaont, along with MPPs @MayorKHolland & @JAYakabuski to build modern schools & get kids back to class in small towns & villages across the province.

Good talk on @CBCLondon with @shawnwlewis , should talk to @afclark82 as well, and @csaont
This is a province wide issue affecting large and small communities. @AndrewLuptonCBC
The broken capital funding model affects suburban and urban communities as well. We need capital funding that reflects the needs of children and their communities.
Great to talk to you about this today @afclark82 with @kellyelliottmcm
These types of problems are the result of a broken education capital funding model. @csaont has been lobbying on this for years. Children and community first.
