I resigned from Anthropic today. I spent the last three years doing pretraining research at both OpenAI and Anthropic. Neither company is acting responsibly. They are racing straight to self-improving superintelligence and gambling with our lives. More thoughts below.
I spent most of my adult life as a European citizen. It meant I could live, work and build a future anywhere from Lisbon to Tallinn without thinking twice.
Brexit tore that away, cheered on by people who now line up behind Putin, Trump and Musk.
If those three are desperate to see the EU weakened, that tells you exactly how valuable it is for democracy, human rights and ordinary people.
Britain should be on Europe’s side, not theirs.

Nigel farage wants you to think that Britain has an immigration problem.
It doesn't.
Britain had a problem with millionaires hoarding wealth, egged on by politicians and the press.
Britain has a problem with racism.
Britain has a @Nigel_Farage problem.
RT if you agree.
Everyone’s talking about how AI will change the game for developers. How anyone can sit down, prompt a model, and generate production-ready code. And it’s true. AI is making coding easier, faster, and more accessible than ever before. But here’s the part that no one wants to admit... in the age of AI, the only real long-lasting moat is community.
Let me explain.
Sure, if you’re working on foundational models or deep tech that’s racing ahead, you’ve got a moat for now. But for the rest of us? The magic doesn’t come from solo work. It comes from the people you build with, learn from, and get challenged by.
AI can churn out lines of code, but it can’t tell you why that code matters. It can’t spark an idea in your head after a conversation with someone who sees a problem differently. It can’t help you navigate real-world tradeoffs, because that requires a human brain and a shared understanding that only a community can bring.
Think about how AI-generated content has flooded the internet. Everything looks the same. Everyone’s post is technically good, but it’s soulless. And suddenly, the authentic, human voice stands out and is worth 100x more.
The same thing is happening in software.
AI can do the building, but the real edge, the thing that actually makes you grow and ship better software, is your community. The people who review your ideas and push them further. The ones who show you what you missed, who remind you that software is as much about people as it is about code.
At https://t.co/d70wlAvtpY, we’re building the largest global community where developers come to connect, debate, and grow together. Because while AI can get you part of the way, it’s the conversations and the shared learning that take you all the way.
So as everyone else rushes to see how much code they can crank out with AI, let’s remember that the real advantage isn’t just speed. It’s the community that keeps you learning, thinking, and building better.
@PM_ViktorOrban Your government severely neglected the improvement of Hungarian agriculture which used to be on world-class level. You failed to prepare the industry to challenges and made several bad decisions. This is the price: Hungarian agriculture is utterly vulnerable.
"United in Diversity". One motto, millions living by it. 🇪🇺
Adopted 25 years ago today, it reflects how Europeans live, connect, and come together.
A lasting call for peace, unity, and pride in the rich traditions, languages, and ways of life that shape the EU.
This morning's 'Sunday' programme with @WilliamCrawley on @BBCRadio4 was light and bright, a perfect way to start the day. I loved the good-humoured bishop-chase, the Canadian bishop's witty reminder about the spiritual significance of a conclave.
Wishing a very happy Easter to Christians across the UK and around the world, as they celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
As we look to the future with hope, I want to thank Christians for their huge contributions to our country.
Pope Francis refused to attend the official meeting with genocidal Zionist JD Vance. Here is what he has said about the ongoing genocide: "I continue to receive very serious and painful news from Gaza. Unarmed civilians are subjected to bombings and shootings. It is terrorism."
