Please enable two-factor authentication (and a physical security key, if possible)! Please setup and use a password manager! @Bitwarden has my vote.
You cannot navigate online in 2024 and beyond without 2FA enabled and super complex passwords. Ignorance is not an excuse.
@AmericanAero@JustinPetersMin Sadly, many are handing over their accounts on a platter because they're not setting up their accounts with the appropriate security settings.
@amacarthur@Pastor_Gabe@JustinPetersMin My thoughts exactly. When I worked in IT support, we called these situations PICNIC (problem in chair, not in computer). 2FA works great when setup and administered correctly.
@Pastor_Gabe@amacarthur@JustinPetersMin I'm curious. Were you locked out of your authenticator app so you couldn't generate a code? Did you not have your backup codes stored somewhere?
@ChiomaFavy Your post caught my eye with "Charles". Your story highlights the balance between work and cherishing our wives. Also, my phone shouldn't overshadow her. Your "story" hit home. Thanks.
Here are some more quotes from Clarence Thomas’ concurring opinion:
“The solution to our Nation’s racial problems thus cannot come from policies grounded in affirmative action or some other conception of equity. Racialism simply cannot be undone by different or more racialism.”
—
“Anyone who today thinks that some form of racial discrimination will prove ‘helpful’ should thus tread cautiously, lest racial discriminators succeed (as they once did) in using such language to disguise more invidious motives.”
—
“What, then, would be the endpoint of these affirmative action policies? Not racial harmony, integration, or equality under the law. Rather, these policies appear to be leading to a world in which everyone is defined by their skin color, demanding ever-increasing entitlements and prefer- ences on that basis.”
—
“Though JUSTICE JACKSON seems to think that her race- based theory can somehow benefit everyone, it is an immutable fact that “every time the government uses racial criteria to ‘bring the races together,’ someone gets excluded, and the person excluded suffers an injury solely because of his or her race.”

You should read the entire opinion. It’s predictably brilliant.
@kingmattic Yes, for a long time now but now there is more focus on what, specifically, should be written down for further study/prayer vs. when to put the pen down and truly listen with no interruption.
This is going to sound harsh, but if the people or the church cause you to abandon Christianity, then you were never rooted in the only valid reason there is to be a Christian, which is faith in Christ.
