The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has issued General Circular No. 05/2026 dated 24th October, 2026, providing relaxation of additional fees and extension of time for filing of Financial Statements and Annual Returns for the Financial Year 2025-26 under the Companies Act, 2013.

🗓️ Filing Deadlines:
🔹 Financial Statements: Form AOC-4, AOC-4 (XBRL), AOC-4 (CFS), AOC-4 CFS NBFC (Ind-AS) and AOC-4 NBFC (Ind-AS) - 31st December 2026
🔹 Annual Returns: Form MGT-7 and Form MGT 7A- 31st January 2027

Now (w.e.f. 31-03-2026):
🔹 Filing once every 3 years (by 30 June)
🔹 Mandatory update within 30 days of any change

Thank you so much Honourable Supreme Court for giving this landmark judgement. Chartered Accountants are being soft target by the government agency on a frequent basis. Just because they do not have legal immunity like a Lawyer, government agencies always make a CA as fall guy. Chartered Accountants are the back bone of the economy of Bharat. Kindly do not demotivate them and maintain the dignity of this esteemed profession so that the future generations are encouraged to take this profession and the country to new heights of excellence.

Will @dir_ed issue a public apology to the respective chartered accountant after the Supreme Court Judgement ?

Last couple of days for V2 of #MCA. Make sure the ID is merged else we may lose a lot of past data.

Check if any e-forms are pending under resubmission. Resolve and resubmit them promptly to avoid rejection or loss during migration.
