Portugal boss Jorge Jesus has doubled down on the Cristiano Ronaldo situation 😳:
🗣️ "I can promise whatever I want. I'm the coach, right?
I'm the coach who told the player, 'You weren't going to play. I'll put you on the bench. If I need you for 30 minutes, then you'll play. If I don't need you, then you won't play'
Cristiano isn't going to, and no player will ever change my ideas as a coach. Never. Right?
Not him, not anyone in football. Not him. Not anyone. Not any president. Never. Zero."
Manchester City reported £949.4m arriving from sponsors over nine years.
The real number was £119.2m. Abu Dhabi United Group (ADUG), the club’s owner, forked out the remaining £830.7m in what the commission described as a “disguised funding scheme”.
City are alleged to have overstated their revenue by £854.5m over nine years.
We knew it was going to be bad. But this bad? No, it is on a different scale to anything the Premier League has seen before.

“The banks rejected me. I wasn’t bankable. Today, they come looking for me.”
Failure is not the end of the entrepreneurial journey. Sometimes, it is part of the preparation for the breakthrough.
Keep building. Keep learning. Keep going. 🚀

The tragedy of the African elite is that they conflate China's engineering capacity at home with its intentions abroad.
When Uganda hands over a multimillion dollar infrastructure project to Beijing, they do so under the naive delusion that they are buying the same world class efficiency seen in Shanghai or Shenzhen.
But they miss the fundamental point, China builds for China; they merely extract from Africa.
Here, it is strictly a game of unmitigated profit.
It is a cynical exercise in cutting corners, leveraging substandard materials, and deploying subpar construction techniques to maximize their margins.
They know our corrupt systems will never hold them to account, so they give us infrastructure built to expire before the loans are even repaid.
Eng. Ronald Balimwezo's confrontation is a brave, proper stance of leadership, but one man isn't enough.
Every system in Uganda, and every system across Africa, needs to be that strict and confrontational with Chinese companies, miners, and businesses, if the continent is to protect itself.
Being boring is underrated. While everyone is posting bottles, you're learning, saving, building, praying. Quiet work has a long memory.
There is nothing wrong with beer and pork. The danger is when entertainment becomes your only weekend skill.
Your future doesn't care how much fun your weekend was. It only remembers what you built while everyone else was busy making noise.
Good morning Beloved ♥️
He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord.— Proverbs 18:22.
I strongly disagree with the idea that a man becomes unsuitable simply because he earns less than a woman.
Especially when we have young women listening to us, we have to be careful not to teach them that a man’s value is determined by his bank account.
Scripture says, He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord.— Proverbs 18:22.
A good woman should be an asset to the man she chooses, just as a good man should be an asset to her. If you meet a hardworking, responsible man with character, vision and integrity, why should his current salary automatically disqualify him? Build together. Grow together. Pray together.
Money changes. A wealthy man today can lose everything tomorrow. A man earning less today can prosper greatly tomorrow. What will matter in either season is the character of the two people in that relationship.
Women, we should never be taught only to ask, “What does he already have?” We should also ask, “Who is he? Where is he going? What can we build together?”
Marriage was never meant to be a financial competition. It is partnership. 📌

@KalakiBrian brother, we live in an age where visibility is mistaken for wisdom, wealth for competence, and personal experience for universal truth. Psychologically, unhealed people often turn survival strategies into philosophies.
🔥If pain taught you that a man's value is primarily financial, you may package materialism as standards.
🔥If betrayal taught you never to trust, you may package emotional avoidance as strength.
🔥If dependence gave you a lifestyle, you may mistake access for achievement.
And young women listening may inherit wounds they never suffered.
Many women who have genuinely built careers, businesses, and institutions understand sacrifice, failure, delayed gratification, and starting from nothing. They know that building takes time.
That is what today's success conversation desperately needs: #Respect for process.
A microphone does not confer wisdom. Followers do not confer expertise. Luxury does not prove competence.
Before teaching relationships, marriage, or success, ask yourself: Have I healed, or have I simply become articulate about my trauma?
🔥Pain can learn vocabulary.
🔥Trauma can acquire followers.
🔥Unresolved wounds can become successful content.
Heal before you package your pain as wisdom and hand it to the next generation.
Akuume.
