@Almostretire Heard a good point on the Terrible Podcast. Defenses are playing a ton of man coverage against us because there is no threat of Rodgers running. Mobile QB force more zone so defenders can keep their eyes on the QB. We haven't had a true man beater since Diontae Johnson left.
@TM_Burner@Almostretire You can work as hard as you want, harder than everyone in the NFL combined. If you don't have the genetic ability to perform like a pro athlete, it's meaningless. Work ethic is necessary but not sufficient.
@TM_Burner@Almostretire My point is that genetics remove the vast majority of people from the pool of potential professional athletes. Sure, if you are lucky enough to be among the 2-3% of the human population capable of that type of performance, work ethic is necessary to realize that potential.
@JimmyM121969@DavidMTodd Caitlin Clark's long-term legacy hinges on winning championships. She deserves teammates that are actually good at basketball.
@JimmyM121969@DavidMTodd Cunningham averaged 7.9 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game this year, down slightly from her career numbers. Calling her a marquee player is laughable.
@pointzeroai@Steelersdepot How does this make him unlikeable? He said it hasn't been good enough, both himself and the defense as a whole. Accountability is bad now? No one cares more or gives more effort than Herbig. He will be fine.
@DavidMTodd I'm not sure it was misinterpreted as much as it was purposely used to push a false narrative and generate clicks. It was very clear what he meant.
@frazmoney93 Really? Scouting department has done a good job since Weidl took over imo. Every team misses, but they've hit a lot more the last 5 drafts than the 5 before. If they've contributed to the lackluster FA signings and trades, they do deserve criticism for that.
Rodgers takes the joy out of rooting for this team, and that's true even if you ignore his insufferable personality off the field. Constantly griping at teammates and coaches while taking sacks and making poor decisions. I'm so over it. The Drew Allar era can't start soon enough.
@Terryp3mk Good kid maybe but also definitely arrogant and entitled. I wanted him to get paid, but after that didn't happen, he needed to ball out and try again next off-season. Faking an injury to force his way out is unforgivable. He's playing under the same contract for the Cowboys now.
@realjohnwalker Lol I'm all for players getting paid but JPJ faked an injury to get out of town and is now going to play on the same contract for another team. Shameful loser behavior. Gtfoh with the well wishes. I never want to see either Porter on our sideline again.
@scarpizio Right, that is well known. Exactly why I said they will be in trouble if Andy Weidl leaves. Hard to argue Omar's first 5 drafts weren't remarkably better than the 5 that came before that though.
@DeeLovesSports@Girlsurgeon They certainly enabled that nonsense at training camp, but they clearly wanted him to knock it off and play once the season started. Every time they removed the back from the injury report, it "flared up". Ruined his family's legacy for literally nothing.
