Reminder and caution to everyone who is having to detour via #BCHwy5a and #BCHwy3 due to #BCHWY5 and #BCHwy1 closures.

#BCHwy3 is a twisty and narrow mountain highway not meant for this much volume. Take your time, stop for a break if you're too tired. Getting home safe is #1.

While out conducting evacuation orders and alerts with @BCRCMP, #Merritt COs located this campfire. The #BCCOS would like to remind everyone that a #campfireban is still in effect in many areas of the province. The individual was ticketed and the fire put out.
