@robertalearns It drives me nuts when I see the same verb in different columns and I have to weigh which one “matches” what I’m trying to achieve. That’s part of why it’s so hard to remember, for me.
There is a LOT of slippery wording in this bill. I can see some of the far-reaching consequences already...

Doing research on Large Language Models has been fascinating. There are so many different perspectives to consider.

Oh my Lanta this is rough! My hand writing is bad enough, but blow it up on a whiteboard and yikes! LOL!
I’m hoping to build a list of resources for the learning board in the future. For now, just linking to good articles!
I’m not entirely convinced that our current standards for evaluation in these areas are accurate, anyway. No mandated exam I had to complete indicated to my ability to learn and demonstrate learning. We need better rubric assessment standards and methods. 🤷🏻♀️
🤯🤯Well this is something else.
GPT-4 passes basically every exam. And doesn't just pass...
The Bar Exam: 90%
LSAT: 88%

@caranorth11 My family has gone through this process (all too often) lately. The difficulty in working with some companies is just… unreal. Same with some companies trying to pass off a family member’s debt illegally.
Making a passing more difficult in any way is just cruel.
@caranorth11 Yup. Grief, like any kind of recovery, isn’t linear. This is annoying and inconvenient at best, IMO. I hope you’re being gentle with yourself as you navigate this new normal. 💗
Just like many things about discourse, we have a lot of wrong-headed ideas out there about what makes social media successful or effective. So many aspects of how some have even *invented* uses for social media have gone un-incorporated.
A bunch of twitter alternatives are like “we don’t have virality, we’re so much better!”
Yeah, you know who depends on virality? Activists. Social movements. All those things that have shifted the needle where rights and the struggles of others are concerned.
Shame is a terrible motivator.
When I think “I should… [be able to do that simple task, exercise more, be on time, get better sleep, be a better friend],” I feel bad and am less likely to do those things.

@MzPunkinPants But “Gimmicky Magazine” told me I’m supposed to turn everything I do into money making! Thus spoiling any joy I may derive from even my “down time”!
