@AranelParmadil Funnily enough, he – I presume – doesn‘t even focus on criticizing writing. „not about race and gender“ BUT „don‘t like the diversity“. So…it very much IS about race and gender? Who knew?

Most importantly though, #Oxonmoot is all about #Tolkien, and our #love for his works, the #consolation we find in his worlds, and the #joy in each other‘s company.

#Oxonmoot is about long-expected parties, and unexpected moments like when @Zoom close-captioning gifted us hilarious misreadings and an unexpected anti-colonialist paper: „why do the white girls come“ (misheard from Lennox‘ ‚white gulls call).
