Campus is not safe for Disabled students. We need to create an accessible, safe learning environment for the most vulnerable during the pandemic. CSU's measures are not acceptable & are ill-informed regarding disability-informed policy & equity. The OPTION to go remote is vital.
I'm sorry but if you don't have a campus mask mandate I can't take your "commitments" to equity, inclusivity, accessibility, or justice seriously. Without mandated covid protections, classrooms become risky settings that contribute to the inequitable impacts of the pandemic.
This is unacceptable. Changing the mask mandate every week will only lead to spread and confusion. Masks need to be required to keep our community safe.
Because COVID-19 levels in the county have dropped from "medium" to "low," effective Tuesday, June 21, mask-wearing on campus (including in classrooms and laboratories) will be optional. For more information: https://t.co/P2B0xsZqt7
It’s almost like they never should’ve removed the mask mandates at all…they removed them on 5/16 & they’re back less than a month later.
When will CSU start listening to the most vulnerable members in our community and keep Covid precautions all the time? #CovidIsNotOver
Mask Up, Vikings! The CDC has rated COVID-19 levels as high in Cuyahoga County, so effective tomorrow, June 1, masks are required to be worn in all indoor spaces on #CLEState's campus. Thanks for doing your part to keep our campus safe. https://t.co/oQXRoRh8x0
“we welcome all concerns from faculty, staff, and students,” they assert, as they surveil social media and criticize folks for articulating their frustrations
We want the school to allow more flexibility and provide more opportunities to keep the students, faculty, staff, and their families safe. Join us on campus for a (socially distant) protest on Jan 24th @ 4. We are calling on president sands to listen to the students! #OHail 💚🤍
Presidents Sands via email: As we transition from the “pandemic” to “endemic” phase of COVID-19, we are confident that we can work together to operate effectively in our “new normal.”
The inaccuracy & ableism make me so angry. Do better @CLE_State Way to go @csusfsl@WEWS ✊
“This isn't our new normal when so many people are at risk. We were both so disappointed with it and we were trying to think of what to do."

Please sign to demand safe conditions for Cleveland State University students, workers, and families! Denial of what's happening and what needs to happen to address it only causes suffering.
@DDillardTV@WEWS Thank you for covering this, Mr. Dillard! Our protest will be in front of the CSU student center on Monday January 24th at 4pm. All are welcome to attend.
Cleveland State students are calling for the university to enact tougher COVID safety protocols.
Some students believe the institution’s current safety measures are too lax and puts the CSU community at risk.
