@zomato , @deepigoyal this is unacceptable.
I ordered a VEG bowl and was delivered NON-VEG.
Your AI support looped endlessly, gave no option to reach a human, and then issued only a PARTIAL refund.
This is a food safety & trust issue, not a coupon problem. Do better
After Pulwama, we crossed a certain rubicon in terms of retaliation.
This time it has to be firm, clear, without any vagueness of satellite images.
Hit them, and hit them so hard that they turn into a rubble.
Individuals who fled India and settled in America illegally are receiving more respect and support from our politicians than those who live here, pay taxes, and work honestly.
This highlights everything that is wrong in our nation.
Cancelling my campaign tomorrow in solidarity with the martyrs of Lebanon & Gaza especially Hassan Nasarullah. We stand with the people of Palestine & Lebanon in this hour of immense grief & exemplary resistance.
Haryana Voter in a viral video: Congress should come back to power. We use to get job by paying bribes than BJP came and said study to get jobs. Will we look after farms or go take education. We want Congress back in power

There was always something rotten in the State of #Mamata’s West Bengal. A neo Fascist party whose local leaders were no more than viciously violent Mafia bullies has for long unleashed a reign of plunder of state resources & patronage, unabashed extortion, forcible dislocation of the poor from their lands and the appropriation of these to their own use, political and communal mass murders and unspeakable gender violence including rape. If we thought that things couldn’t possibly get worse in the State the #TMC administration had a macabre surprise in store for us : the heart wrenching sadism of the #Abhaya episode. The hospital administration and police response has already been severely castigated by the Calcutta High Court and the investigation of the heinous crime transferred to the #CBI. Since #Abhaya constitutes the very acme of a crime of extreme depravity it behoves the CBI to provide a very expeditious intimation to a numbed Indian public to these questions: 1. What was the motive of the dastardly crime? 2. Who were its perpetrators and colluders?3. Who was responsible for what seems to be a highly probable cover up - 4. Who and/or what criminal activity qua the medical college was sought to be shielded ? 5. Who ordered the cover up?Providing the answers to these questions cannot seriously test the premier investigating agency of the country
Bulldozer action seems to be much better than this.
Past few days have been very traumatic every time I have opened X. Humanity has stooped so low. (2/2)

Violence at every level of election, post poll violence on a particular set of voters, storming of crime scene to destroy evidence and cctv footage. Couldn't fathom what else is required to impose president's rule. (1/2)

Yesterday was quite an evening in Gurgaon.
I got late from a meeting that was inside a building that didn't give me a view of the outside. I knew it had rained but had no idea by how much.
I was not very far away from home. The regular route showed an hour, which was surprising so I took a shortcut suggested by maps.
The shortcut took me through a small street behind MGF malls, which was waterlogged up to people's knees. I kept pushing the car forward that was making waves. I was careful, mindful of the recent delhi coaching incident, but also worried about the car stalling in the water. After about 1.5 km I saw a BMW and a Honda City stuck, those guys couldn't start their cars. Onlookers advised me to turn around and take the main route.
I carefully turned and got on the main route around IFFCO Chowk which is the worst route to take during rains. It was completely packed filled with cars moving barely at a snail's pace.
The low fuel alarm had been blinking since the evening which I had thought I would get it filled on my way home and now after spending over an hour in this traffic the car went on reserve. I was furious, scared, and confused. Should I proceed and risk the car coming to a halt?
I decided otherwise and parked it in front of Platinum Towers and thought to take a cab home. Waited for a bit for things to improve but they didn't so I started walking in the knee deep water looking for a cab/auto. Worst Decision Ever, Never Do it.
Would have barely walked 300 meters and I saw 7-8 people shouting out of their lungs, telling me to get out of the water and move on to the divider. They kept pointing at two bodies that were lying there probably electrocuted. It was really dark but i didn't really have the guts to look at them.
Was completely shaken to the core. That sudden realisation of how easy it is to die in this country.
Those strangers could have gone home but chose to stay and warn others and helped them from meeting the same fate. They definitely saved my life.
I reached home and kept thinking "what if."
It was tough to sleep so kept watching videos of submerged roads and floating cars through NCR.
Around 4 am when I couldn't get any sleep i thought I should get my car before water levels rise further
I got a cab which I didnt think I would and asked the driver if things were better. He said, "Ji bhaiya, ab toh paani utar gaya hai."
I saw my car and the empty roads, a very different scenario from what I had seen a few hours back.
I looked at the spot where the bodies were, they were not there anymore.
Still troubled by everything I got fuel filled in the car. As I was leaving the pump I took a shortcut on the wrong side barely 100-150 m which I usually wouldn't but I did.
Right then two people on a bike stopped me. The policemen whom I didnt see in the evening were now conveniently there to collect their "share" for keeping me alive.
At 4:30 am they checked my license! Normally i would hand over the 500 and just bounce but after such an evening I was on the edge.
I kept arguing if this was really what they should be doing after such a bad evening for everyone. They didn't care.
His colleague came and said, "Sir kyu argue kar rahe ho? 500 do aur jao" And that's what I did.
I will remember this eventful evening for a long time, it showed me both sides of humanity. Strangers helping others for no reason at all while cops who should help showed no empathy at all.
A Night to Remember. Gurgaon. 31/07/2024.
India won 4 gold medals and a silver medal in the International Math Olympiad, coming just behind the US and China
India is also ranked 72 out of 73 in the PISA global rankings, which tests Math heavily
One of these is clear bias, the other a sign of clear talent
When I used to work in Mumbai, and a middle aged employee would enter the office at 10:30 am, wearing his bag on his chest, a drenched raincoat, soggy shoes, dismounting the umbrella, you could see in his eyes that he has been through hell, just to reach office all the way from Kalyan.
Mumbaikars have very very thick skin. They have tried switching govts, that lever doesn’t work, so they have accepted their fate. Stitching together islands, doesn’t make a city. At least for 2 months a year. A solitary 6 inch heel, of the expensive kind, lying on the platform, shows even the rich can’t escape this.
