Officially have my first set of “giclée” (archival/museum-grade) art prints!
Hoping to really start getting into prints alongside my originals! Currently have prints of:
1) Angel Of The Oaks
2) Lizard On A Leaf
3) Prayer In A (Mostly) Empty Church
4) Man Tending A Campfire
@btleslie@lemongingerade Thanks very much! A bit slower turnout today, but now that I am including prints alongside originals, I can finally start doing more markets (since I have more inventory)! I have come to learn too that summer is the slow season for markets in Louisiana largely due to weather!😅
@lemongingerade Thank you! We caught some brief morning rain (fortunately the market is covered), but it looks like it should be sunny the rest of the day! So it goes with outdoor markets🤷🏼♂️ Peace🙏🏼
Finally getting back to regularly making art after a slower 1-2 weeks! Just finished this commission:
“Prayer In St. Anselm’s”
A customer wanted a version of my “Prayer In A (Mostly) Empty Church” illustration but set in their local parish. Black & white ink on toned tan paper!
@Gogh_Paint Likewise! Have honestly felt in a slump for 2 weeks or so (was out of town for 4-5 days, then had arm strain), but finally have started getting back to it the past few days!
Peace🙏🏼
Back at the art market this morning!
Just got a couple “double glass” frames for artworks; really like the “floating” look it gives for illustrations! Also seems to help the artwork have room to breathe, rather than being too cramped by the frame itself.
@Gogh_Paint Thanks man!
Aiming to start having 2 “tiers” of higher priced framed originals & more affordable giclée prints!
Also, realized I was pressing too hard w my pencil & that was causing wrist pain! Also my shoulder was leaning out too far! Using a drawing board & standing desk now
