After @Airtel_Ug’s PR team called me, they explained that I had entered my PIN to send the money (something i didn’t do) They said they would help me track where the transaction had taken place.

Two days later, they called back and told me the transaction had happened in Mukono (Watoni). The funny thing is, that day I didn’t even go anywhere near Jinja Road, not even ku bitaala bya Jinja road.

Later, they called again and asked whether I use Wi-Fi. They told me to send them the phone number of the person whose Wi-Fi I use because they suspected that person might have intercepted my connection and stolen my money.

Before I could even send them the number, they called again and claimed that my SIM card had been inserted into a Tecno phone that day my money was chopped for about five minutes, and that the owner of that phone might have been the one who took my money.

I asked them, Fine, but why didn’t I receive the usual message confirming that I had sent the money ? He replied, “The messaging part is above me, I can’t explain that”

And that’s how my UGX 360,000 was taken from my Airtel line without my consent.

So, guys, please be careful with mobile money and these telecom services. Don’t keep more than UGX 50,000 in your mobile money account for long, otherwise, you might end up crying too😢

On Wednesday, Moses of Kanoni, Gomba, who runs a coffee factory, was shot dead by armed men in police uniforms. Based on their appearance, we can only describe them as police officers.

The reported motive is that he refused to sell his coffee to a man identified as Gabba Nogu. The men allegedly claimed they were arresting him because his factory was processing substandard coffee beans.

All cars in Kampala are crawling due to #EPSAutoUg. Over speeding has never been a traffic problem for Kampala. Kampala’s problems are—unregulated boda boda industry, potholes and unauthorised right of way and sirens. As drivers:
1. We can petition the courts to halt this broad daylight theft.
2. We can appeal to President @KagutaMuseveni to halt the policy.
3. We can protest against the policy through #RejectEPSAutoUg

2. Leave an allowance of at least 5-10km/hr allowance on the 30km/hr limit to make it reasonable as it is impossible to drive at exactly 30km/hr, without exceeding the limit by even 1 -2km/hr.
