Dear Mum and Dad,

I'm so glad that you agreed to let me have piano lessons. I’m really enjoying it. Mrs. Smith is very nice and I'm making good progress, she says. I’m practicing a lot and really like every minute of it. But I have to tell you about something else. Bruce Murray had the idea to form a band and asked me if I wanted to be in it. We will call ourselves The Hectics. In addition to Bruce and myself, Victory Rana, Derrick Branche, and Farang Irani will be in the band.

Tomorrow we will meet for our first rehearsal. I’m very excited about this!
