@hnnymoonave @myferrars @a_hgzl yea i totally get that i just think it’s a shame because there is a normal side to booktok but it’s overlooked by those creators, ur point definitely stands it’s just unfortunate its ruined by sickos
@belbottoms_13 @hnnymoonave @myferrars @a_hgzl thank you and i totally agree! it’s really frustrating when there’s a genuine problem with something and people try ignore it by saying ‘let people enjoy things’ like sorry i don’t want 14 year olds thinking s/a is okay nor read literal garbage and lose critical thinking lol
@hnnymoonave @myferrars @a_hgzl fanfiction has always existed and not bad to engage with! but when ‘dark romance’ books which are thinly veiled glorifications of s/a are easily accessible for young teens it’s wrong and that’s what booktok has done a lot - hope this makes sense !!
@hnnymoonave @myferrars @a_hgzl sorry but this absolutely isn’t true! the quality of books has downgraded and while bad books have always existed, they haven’t been projected as much due to social media. extremely harmful and frankly odd books are popularised through booktok i.e C.H books
@megsafcb ive literally went searching for this !!!!! she could have asked priya if she was gonna mention it because she felt weird it going unaddressed wtf
Someone watched that little ones every move for the 1st months of their life, worried about their milk intake, their sleep & development. Dressed them, brushed their hair. Kissed their cheeks 1000s of times, that little ones whose body was held up against the flames with no head
