So sad that some of the pedestrian streets in Montreal end this weekend.
@Val_Plante -- can we keep the outdoor dining and pedestrianization until the cold weather hits? Mont Royal is full every evening when cars aren't allowed 💜
I am flying to Philadelphia next weekend and this is exactly why: unreliable and incredibly slow @Amtrak service from @MTL_Ville to Philadelphia. 1 trip a day, 11 hours long, and routinely canceled. What's a girl gotta do to get some trains around here?
felt some climate anxiety so I took myself for a bike ride during lunch. I biked 13 miles / ~21 km, almost entirely in protected bike lanes in the city. I love you, Montreal 🚲
Montréal’s Avenue Mont-Royal has been pedestrianized every summer since 2020. It’s the definition of a successful street for people. We need more places like this!
