@DavidMoralesRI Parking space is valuable land. We should not incentivize the financial subsidy of private parking. It’s fine for people to pay a small amount to occupy very valuable space with their private asset. Walking is free. Biking is cheap. The bus is cheap. Many options available.

I think the partnership between DoorDash (food service) and Klarna (personal loan financier) is predatory. Klarna sets interest rates based on your credit score from 0% (never) up to 33.99%. These predatory loans should be illegal.

Lead certificates have been required for most pre-1978 rentals in RI for over 20 years now. The exemption for owner-occupied 2- or 3-unit homes ended in January of last year. There have been months and years of time to comply with lead certificate requirements. (1/2)
