A father caring for two children with cerebral palsy, with no support system left. Before the genocide, his children had access to specialized programs, medical care, and services that supported their development. Today, those services are gone. He has been left to manage their care alone while struggling to provide even the most basic necessity: food. Help here: https://t.co/uFKKDqN8Aw
This is the reality for countless families in Gaza caring for children with disabilities. Families who were already vulnerable have lost nearly every form of support they once depended on.
On September 13, The Sameer Project kitchen distributed 451 meals of rice and kofta. Of those, 431 meals went to displaced families in Al-Karm Camp in Deir Al Balah seen here, and 20 were delivered to Civil Defense workers. The total cost after 11% transfer fees was $1,306.
For less than $3, you can take one burden off a parent already carrying more than anyone should have to bear. Help us keep our kitchen running. Families like his are depending on us. Donate to The Sameer Project’s Food and Water Campaign: https://t.co/uFKKDqN8Aw

We still need $395 to begin our empowerment training for Rohingya youth. Without your support, we cannot start!

How long do you think 10 liters of water would last you?
For reference…
Boiling a pot of pasta? 3 to 5 liters.
Flushing your toilet? 6 to 9 liters.
Taking a 5-minute shower? More than 35 to 50 liters.
Washing a sink full of dishes? 10 to 20 liters of water…

Now imagine having just 10 liters for an entire day, as a family. To drink, cook, wash your hands, clean your dishes, bathe your children, and maintain basic hygiene. For displaced families in Gaza, every liter must be carefully rationed. There is no turning on a faucet when the water runs out. No guaranteed refill tomorrow.
What you might use in a few MINUTES, a family in Gaza may have to stretch across an entire DAY!
The Sameer Project produces and delivers clean water directly to displaced communities because water is survival. We need you…sponsor our water program by signing up to be a monthly donor to the Food and Water Campaign: https://t.co/uFKKDqN8Aw

the idea that black children have to suffer through racist nonsense during the most formative years of our life in order for white kids to learn a lesson is truly so evil. y'all want to sacrifice our safety and sanity for the sake of white ignorance
This entire week has been twice release anniversaries and it’s making me reflect on how they kinda raised me thru my teenhood. It really does take a village.
💔 I never imagined I would find myself in a position where I needed to ask others for help, but here I am, doing my best to keep going.
🙏 I’m still at $0 of $1,000. Any donation or share would mean so much
