@for_yield Don’t disagree. Jrs do jr work. But at some point you need to see light at the end of the tunnel for building a skillset in what actually matters. Otherwise you’re just stuck being an analyst with no real skillset once you’re a VP. Leadership and culture are important here imo
Great article from FT. Most of what you learn as an analyst/associate gets you home quicker, not what gets rewarded in the long run.

@the_P_God Skill set you develop as analyst is not what gets paid in the long run. Makes you more efficient and can get you home quicker. You gotta be able to build a book of business, communicate, and sell.
