@truckdriverpleb Not likely Trudeau. Parents play a bigger part. I practiced and played on outdoor rinks. Once I turned 15 it was indoor on artificial ice. Costs for indoor ice are far greater than outdoor ice but that is what the parents wanted. I rarely see kids on outdoor ice.

@forevaeva79 Nice try. Those numbers include the massive profits by the oil and gas sector which does not equate to higher wages. It does mean more jobs although many companies have announced cuts. Biggest reasons for people moving here is lower housing costs combined with potential jobs.
