Token utility is dying slowly.

• Token use for payments
• Etc

While intended to benefit users, they often become sources of friction in products.

Utility projects are essentially startups. They can be acquired (e.g., Padre, KOLscan, etc) or grow to become something much bigger.

More often than not, tokens become a distraction as founders focus more on price action than the core business.

Utility only exists to justify the existence of a token (hold this to get that), which only gets you so far. We're entering an age where this isn't necessary.

Tokens that give holders upside in the company/product/service is the way. This gives founders the room to focus on underlying tech that leverages crypto/blockchain rather price.

The upside isn't just in price, its in growth, acquisitions, or mergers that could happen if the underlying technology is really disruptive. This isn't ETH utility szn in 2023. Think bigger.

Tokens that give you exposure to/ownership of the company is the way. HUGE unlock.

Tides are turning. Position accordingly.

Correlation between $HYPE price and staked $HYPE.

A clear pattern is emerging within the Hyperliquid ecosystem - one that could hint at further upside.

Earlier, when HYPE crossed $35, we observed a rapid unstaking of 5 million tokens - likely in anticipation of selling pressure. Normally, such moves bring price corrections. But this time, the market absorbed the unlock without significant impact.

Now, with the price consolidating above $40, the trend appears to be reversing:
Over the past week, 4 million HYPE have been staked again.

Why does this matter?

Increased staking = reduced liquid supply, often a precursor to upward price movement

Unstaking = more available supply, which typically adds downward pressure

Currently, we’re seeing the staking trend rise again, while the price remains stable - a combination that historically precedes bullish momentum.

If this pattern holds, a move toward $50 HYPE by the end of June is not unrealistic.

This correlation between staking activity and price is becoming hard to ignore.
