Thrilled to announce our first institutional funding round with a $400 million strategic investment from Citadel Securities valuing https://t.co/dwRH3Ycaul at $20 billion. An incredible milestone 10 years in on our journey and the beginning of a new phase of growth. Grateful to our team who got us here, our customers and community who supported us in both bull and bear and finally to our new partners for their trust. Together we will capture new opportunities at this critical juncture for the industry and win. Onwards!

[Kris @kris]

@MDXreal Looking into this.

[Kris @kris]

Next step unlocked: We’ve officially filed with the CFTC for equity perps in the US, following our Form 1-N acknowledgement by the SEC last week. Bridging digital asset innovation with US capital markets is happening in real time. Brick by brick 📈

[Kris @kris]

The battle over digital assets isn’t happening in legislative chambers—it already played out in the global economy.

When hundreds of millions of ordinary people choose seconds over days and fractions of a cent over steep fees, the outcome is already decided. Wall Street’s adoption of blockchain infrastructure isn't ideological; it's basic arithmetic.

Congressional stalling on procedural votes delays regulatory clarity, but it cannot slow the structural momentum. The architecture of traditional finance has already shifted toward transparency, real-time verification, and open ledgers.

A procedural vote cannot undo the plumbing of the financial system. This battle was lost, but the War on Crypto already ended.

[Kris @kris]

Today, the SEC acknowledged the Form 1-N of our futures exchange through https://t.co/wVY8Zu330c and we are now authorized to bring single-stock futures to the market. We are working with the SEC and the CFTC to offer single-stock perps in the US, which will combine the innovations of the digital asset markets with the US capital markets. This is a huge moment for our team and platform - more updates soon.

Great move, @cryptocom fully supports @Fwiz and @CronosNetwork - get ready for Ult Season 🔥
crypto-com-chain:native

[Ryan Wyatt @Fwiz]

The strategy we laid out brings clarity for users and developers across Cronos. Go check it all out at https://t.co/D8W3CUhcnd

(1) We're naming our trading app @UltApp. Ult is short for Ultimate, the most powerful ability you unlock. Our goal is to give you the most powerful ability to trade: anything you want, whenever you want, wherever you want. Most of what's inside Ult doesn't run on @CronosNetwork, so the old name told traders the wrong thing of what's available in the app to trade.

(2) The first of more tokenomics discussions to come, starting with two proposals. 100% of Ult and Cronos Launch revenue goes toward buying and burning crypto-com-chain:native, and the community burn gets automated. This is just a start.

(3) The mandate for Cronos Labs is clear. Our focus is Ult and products that drive 100% of revenue to crypto-com-chain:native. Every other Cronos Labs project will be sunset over the coming months. Look to each project directly for its own communications.

(4) Some of what developers told us they want:

A clear path to be considered for listings at @cryptocom We're laying out the review eligibility. Token launchpad information comes out this week. Equal treatment for developers on other launchpads, and for tokens that already exist on Cronos Network. We want everyone to win.

Ease of building: familiar EVM tooling and a 24/7 settlement network with key integrations like a direct on/offramp with @cryptocom and Native USDC. Then distribution as Ult grows, for example through token listing and routing once execution quality improvements ship.

This is just the start of much more to come, but we wanted to lay down the foundation. See you on Ult, Thursday September 17th, on iOS and Android available to the world.

[Kris @kris]

Ult Season is coming! 🔥 Excited about the upcoming launch of @UltApp - trade everything that's hot, ultimate social trading experience, available globally. Paired with a token launchpad on @CronosNetwork and 100% of revenue generated by @UltApp going to crypto-com-chain:native buybacks, with full support of @cryptocom - love this new direction by @Fwiz & team 💪 hope to see lots of exciting community tokens and rapid growth across the board with many successful listings on CDC. [Ult @UltApp]

The Cronos app becomes Ult.

Ult is short for Ultimate, unlocking your most powerful ability. With Ult, our goal is to give you the most powerful ability to trade: anything you want, whenever you want, wherever you want.

Ult is the app. It will have no token.

All markets, one app. 17 September 2026.

Teams worked around the clock to protect user funds and restore services. Thanks everyone tor your patience and support. We really appreciate it.

[Ryan Wyatt @Fwiz]

The @CronosNetwork halted yesterday via validator consensus to protect users following the Tectonic exploit.

This was deemed necessary as it protected users from being exposed to this exploit.

The chain is back online, services will resume here shortly. Post mortem to follow.

[Kris @kris]

There has been a security breach on a Cronos lending protocol Tectonic. Cronos team is investigating, with assistance from https://t.co/dwRH3YcIjT security team.

https://t.co/dwRH3YcIjT app and exchange were not affected and are operating as usual. All funds are safe.

I will provide updates as we learn more about the Tectonic incident and a thorough postmortem will follow.

[Kris @kris]

@WormChester33 Team is investigating.

.@higgsfield has the best tools with earliest access to new models and is the most competitive solution in the market - every brand and every agency should have @higgsfield in their stack

Congrats on closing the round @alexmashrabov 💪

AI video creation platform @higgsfield has reached a valuation of $5.4B after its latest funding round. CEO @alexmashrabov discusses the business & its growth trajectory: https://t.co/8pmhpTkUIY

[Kris @kris]

After analyzing these proposed ETFs and DAT from every angle, we’ve reached the same conclusion: moving forward under current market conditions doesn’t make sense.

We will continue to pursue other ETF opportunities. As for the CRO committed to the DAT, we’ll find a better way to allocate these resources in order to drive revenue, increase demand and grow the value of the ecosystem.
