@Sabremetrix It’s not the $ it’s the years that will be an issue. Teams are giving 30 year old forwards 8 year deals to spread the $. With full no trade. I love Tuch, but the final 4 years of an 8 year deal would be brutal.

@SportsSturm It was interesting that in the closing minutes of the stars close out they didn’t have Hughes on the ice and went with bigger D. Doesn’t diminish anything you said, game changing skater and passer.

@SportsSturm Bunting is a solid two way guy, why not. The challenge is the depth guys are good for the Stars so somebody is going to get sat down who is a solid contributor. You’re right, lack of 5v5 scoring will end them at some point if the PP even becomes league average.

@SportsSturm Was there last night (vowed not to miss the first game back in the playoffs) & it was amazing. Best comparable is like a small English town whose team makes it back to the premier league. It was emotional.
