@goldenspirit155 SGA 13 blocks away from being the all-time leading in shot blocks in NBA history. He just passed Jason Kidd for 2nd. Just enjoy watching the game & sit the commentary side out.
@MrBeavv A B1G/SEC scheduling alliance isn’t checkmate. A 24-team CFP opens doors for the ACC/B12, especially comparing 4-loss teams to better records without cross-conference games. Oregon State? The B12 and ACC already passed. Rebuilding the Pac-12 isn’t leverage. It’s survival.
@SimbaWalker6x The B1G & SEC have been trying to kill the Big 12 for over 20 years & it still hasn’t happened. Last I checked, the NCAA, nor any conference, have been granted antitrust protection, so their scheduling alliance can only go so far w/o creating damages to the Big 12/ACC.
@StuartDonald@Firstand16_Pod *1–4. The SEC added legends Billy Sims & Ricky Williams to its history. They can’t claim the good stuff without owning OU’s playoff failures too. 😂
@NeilLfc_5 Tolkien’s world extends far beyond The Hobbit and LOTR. Between the appendices, The Silmarillion, Unfinished Tales, and other writings, there are thousands of years of history and untold stories. The trilogy barely scratches the surface of Middle-earth’s mythology.
@TylerGlasscock_ Being the fourth option on a championship roster doesn’t make him a fourth option elsewhere. Wallace could develop into a No. 2 option on another team. Presti knows contracts reflect more than current roles. He’s paying for present value, future development, and flexibility.
@Zuk_DC@NoleGood@kyledcheney I’m asking for evidence supporting your specific claim, not another deflection. Provide a credible source, transcript, or recording that substantiates it. Otherwise, perhaps it’s time to get back to trolling.
@Zuk_DC@NoleGood@kyledcheney Can you substantiate that claim with a credible source, or is this just another opinion dressed up as fact? You’ve offered plenty of commentary but little evidence. Prove it, or you’re just another troll making claims you can’t defend.
@NoleGood@Zuk_DC@kyledcheney So, can you actually make a legal argument supported by evidence and precedent that Reyes exceeded her authority under Rule 11, or are personal attacks the best you’ve got? If you can’t defend your position on its merits, sit down and let the adults talk.
@Zuk_DC@kyledcheney Which gets to Reyes’s point. Was a reasonable inquiry even made? She’s asking who actually reviewed the allegations, believes they have a reasonable factual and legal basis, and is willing to put their professional credibility behind them. That’s precisely why Rule 11(b) exists.
@NoleGood@Zuk_DC@kyledcheney You’re arguing against something that hasn’t been established. Reyes asked whether anyone was willing to stand behind Woodward’s allegations. I’ve seen no evidence she compelled anyone to do so or threatened to. Asking a question isn’t coercion. Do you have evidence otherwise?
@NoleGood@Zuk_DC@kyledcheney You’re still confusing 11(a) with 11(b). Woodward’s signature satisfies the filing requirement, but 11(b) explicitly extends accountability to attorneys who later advocate those claims. Reyes asking who’s willing to stand behind the allegations doesn’t violate either rule.
@Zuk_DC@kyledcheney And Rule 11(b) holds attorneys accountable for the claims they sign, submit, or advocate. Reyes is well within her rights to ask who’s willing to stand behind those allegations and certify they have a reasonable factual and legal basis.
@APH00PS@HTmpstr_ Bennett isn’t the majority owner; he’s chairman of an ownership group that includes billionaire George Kaiser & other wealthy investors. Using Bennett’s speculative $400M net worth to question the entire ownership group’s ability to pay is misleading.
@tylerwaldrep You cover sports, so you should know facts from feelings. I’d say the game felt like OSU could’ve won by 11. That’s the impact of high-stakes games won on the margins, where a few plays create huge swings. Houston executed better. That’s why they won by 3 instead of losing by 10.
@Cchelf10 I understand the logic & don’t disagree. Hindsight is part of my argument, too. But taking points worked against Oregon, while repeatedly going for it contributed to the Tulsa loss. The defense needs to improve, especially in timely situations, but consistency starts at the top.
