It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of Bacchanal-alumni SOPHIE’s passing. SOPHIE was born in Glasgow, UK, and from a young age was able to identify a passion for music. What began in small electronic music venues would soon become a cultural movement, as (1/6)

contemporary age. Shifting the boundaries of anonymity and identity, self and the other, real and fake, the producer defied all expectation and broke down walls for artists of the future. The reverberations of the artist’s impact will surely be felt for generations to come. (5/6)
