For a lot of players, Lynch was the reason to buy a Dokken record.

Here he is playing it with his own band, Lynch Mob, in 1991, years after it first appeared on Dokken's Back for the Attack.

🚀 This is Slayer at full fucking speed. “War Ensemble” doesn’t waste a second; it hits like a machine gun from the opening riff and just keeps getting more violent.

🎼 The guitars are razor-sharp, the drums are absolutely relentless, and Tom Araya sounds completely possessed.

✅ What I love most is how the song feels both chaotic and insanely controlled. Jeff Hanneman and Kerry King throw riff after riff at you, while Dave Lombardo’s drumming gives the whole thing that terrifying sense of momentum.

🗣️ And then there’s that chorus: “War Ensemble!” One of those Slayer moments that gets permanently burned into your brain.

👌 From Seasons in the Abyss, this is one of the band's definitive tracks. Brutal, fast, sinister and completely fucking unforgettable.
