I understand the notion of risk management on financial backing. But we now live in a globalised cash nexus with liquid capital and movement of people - you cannot stop this in the current model of capitalism

Gone are the days of local businessman with a real grounding in town & club culture… that’s sad.

Terry at least is British and understands British club culture. That is ultimately better than a US owner

To me that points towards takeover confirmed - if we were scraping around on a further reduced Cowling budget we’d cut losses.

Cowley intent for next season seems to be around physical athleticism - Payne/Perry/Read is a physically small trio.
