Инцидент произошёл в Уолсолле в сентябре 2025 года. В полиции заявили, что записи из карманных блокнотов офицеров не входят в структурированную систему хранения документов. Любые относящиеся к делу персональные данные, по словам полиции, были перенесены в официальный отчёт расследования в соответствии с Законом об уголовном процессе и расследованиях.

Имена офицеров, которые пришли домой к школьнице, не раскрыли. Полиция сослалась на нормы законодательства о защите данных, согласно которым, силовики даже при исполнении служебных обязанностей сохраняют право на конфиденциальность.

Видеозаписи с нательных камер также не были предоставлены. В полиции сказали, что заявитель имеет право получить материалы, где он присутствует, однако в результате поиска соответствующих записей обнаружить не удалось.

Полиция ворвалась в дом к семье в сентябре 2025 года. Силовики заявили, что проводят проверку по жалобе о создании фейкового аккаунта в социальных сетях, с которого отправлялись «непристойные сообщения, причинившие серьёзный вред». Инцидент попал на видео, однако полиция графства Уэст-Мидлендс настаивала, что видео якобы было существенно отредактировано и «вводило в заблуждение».
