@AdolphRizzler@OXHarryH1@griffinpdavis I will absolutely go to the park for 2-3 hrs before or after a movie. I haven’t eaten at CityWalk for a bit though but that’s for economic reasons. The walk has been dying for a while now tbh. All of the recent vacancies have just been filled by Universal stores.
@AdolphRizzler@OXHarryH1@griffinpdavis Once you’ve wasted time in a security queue to then waste time lining up at the park entrance to get your ticket or annual pass scanned it is that much more alluring to buy an express pass so you’re not wasting more time in lines for rides. It’s all by design. 🙂↕️
@OXHarryH1@AdolphRizzler@griffinpdavis Last major incident was 2015 when that guy that offed himself inside the park. Aside from that the worst I’ve heard is little edgars fighting one another during HHN and your classic cases of tram hoppers.
@AdolphRizzler@OXHarryH1@griffinpdavis I understand what Universal is trying to do and I get why they’re doing it, but I also agree that crime in LA is WAYYY down compared to the 90’s and this is a bit much.
@OXHarryH1@AdolphRizzler@griffinpdavis Exactly. Queue in a separate line, show your ticket exactly as you would to a gate agent to get the $5 parking discount, get your person and belongings checked, and off you go.
@OXHarryH1@AdolphRizzler@griffinpdavis Universal plans to build a hotel using part of the woody woodpecker lot and this is the first step to close the loop in order to make a hotel room -> park transition seamless for guests.
