The Real Return on the Sentient and Chainlink Partnership

Chainlink connects to the “real world” with its secure data stream, transforming abstract ideas into concrete economic actions. This enables them to perform real-world tasks such as spending money, triggering transactions, or making decisions, not just “generating ideas.”

The AI agents in @SentientAGI 's GRID ecosystem can reason on their own, meaning they can analyze and plan, but without the “external data” we refer to in the blockchain world, such as prices, weather, and macro indicators, their capabilities or transaction reliability were essentially blind.

1- DATA ENTRY
Acquiring “Verified Data” from @chainlink

Chainlink's oracle network, or data provider, cryptographically verifies real-world data and delivers it to agents.
This data is collected from over 100 sources and protected against manipulation, with virtually no margin of error!
agents receive this data via the CRE (Chainlink Runtime Environment). We can think of the CRE as the agents' “eyes,” because it securely integrates data and feeds the agents' “reasoning” layer.

2- THINKING and DECISION
Sentient's ROMA Phase

takes over the task, as we have frequently mentioned before, using the ROMA framework, which takes the data and performs multi-agent coordination.
One agent analyzes prices, another calculates risk, a third makes plans, and finally, a decision is made.
In other words, ROMA agents coordinate and structure decisions, and when fed with Chainlink data, thought becomes evidence.

3-FINALIZATION
Performing via CRE

The decision made by ROMA in the previous step is automatically sent to the blockchain via CRE.
ROMA decides → CRE implements it on the blockchain.
In other words, CRE acts as Rome's right-hand man and turns decisions into action.

Agents can purchase data, execute transactions, and reward contributors.

last Saturday, for reasons I couldn't understand, my computer went into Windows' “Automatic Repair” mode and wouldn't start up. 🔐
Frankly, I panicked because I didn't know much about this situation, and I was quite stressed thinking that many of my files stored on my hard-working computer had been lost. 🤯
Researching this issue online could have been a huge time sink, and I might not have fully understood what to do.

>> I thought the best option would be to ask Sentient Chat and have it explain to me step by step what I should do. As I expected, he quickly identified the possible sources of error one by one and explained them with headings.
>> I asked him to elaborate on the section I was stuck on and describe what I should do step by step.
>> When I entered the "bootrec /fixboot" command, I got an “access denied” error. Since I didn't know how to fix it, I asked for help, and told me to enter the “bcdboot C:\Windows” command instead. Then the disk drive check started with the command “chkdsk C: /f /r”.
After completing these steps, I returned to the main screen and clicked the "Continue to Windows 11" option:

After my computer booted up normally, I performed a final check by following these steps:
>> Win + S → “cmd” → right-click → I ran it as Administrator,
>> I entered the "sfc /scannow" command, waited for it to finish, and then when it was done,
>> I entered the "DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth" command to complete all the processes.

☝️I would like to point out one issue that caught my attention and must be addressed.
With the updates made, Sentient Chat is now much faster, clearer, and produces spot-on answers.
However, when I uploaded a screenshot related to the problem I experienced regarding the topic I mentioned above, I received a warning that “the file type is not supported.”

This surprised me, frankly.

🤌Considering Sentient's pace of development, I believe that file types such as “Images (e.g., .png, .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .svg)” must absolutely be supported to provide faster detection and analysis, thereby saving users time and increasing satisfaction.

Developments and updates on @SentientAGI side are continuing at full speed, and with the latest announcement, community educators were asked to share original, high-quality content about ROMA v0.2.0. Although my role within the community is that of a Helper, it's impossible for me to remain indifferent to these amazing developments :)

Therefore, I want to examine the differences between the ROMA v0.1 and v0.2.0 versions and explain the new developments in my own words.

First, let's take a look at the diagram I created to remind us of the 4-step working principle of the ROMA v0.1 version.
Atomizer → Breaks down complex tasks into small, independent subtasks.
Planner → Assigns the most suitable agent/tool to each sub-task and determines the dependency order.
Executor → Runs sibling sub-tasks in parallel (dependent ones sequentially).
Aggregator → Collects the sub-results and sends them back to the parent node; generates new sub-tasks if necessary.

Let's take a look at the changes made in the new version ROMA v0.2.0 and the differences between it and the first version.

>> When I looked at the GitHub sources, one of the first developments that caught my eye was that the old 4-stage structure had been expanded to 5 stages with the addition of the “Verifier” loop.

Atomizer→ Planner→ Executor→ Verifier→ Aggregator

Verifier: It verifies the result, sends it back to Planner for correction if it finds an error, and directs it to Aggregator if there is no error.

I added the “Verifier” stage to the initial version diagram, our new workflow cycle became as shown in the visual.

Another noteworthy aspect is that ROMA has been completely rebuilt, this time based on DSPyOSS instead of its own source. This development appears to have made ROMA much faster, more stable, and more scalable in real-world workloads.

In short,
It is the official open-source community and brand of the DSPy framework.
DSPy (Declarative Self-improving Python) is an open-source framework that allows you to program language models (LLMs) using Python code, rather than writing prompts. (This part got very technical, in short, using Python code 😅)

How does the DSPyOSS async module enhance ROMA?
→ It enables significant time savings by running multiple sub-tasks in parallel.

→ With the asynchronous I/O (Asynchronous Input/Output) working model, it can start a process and continue with other tasks without waiting for the result.

→ Using artifact-only context propagation, completed sub-tasks are stored as clean, serializable artifacts, thus being filtered out of the full chat history to prevent token bloat.

→ Automatic model routing ensures the right model selection for light/heavy task distribution.

→ Graceful fallback ensures the system does not crash even if a model does not support async.

I participate in events on the #games channel almost every day, trying not to miss any. Today, I participated in a quiz organized by @_fl1st_ on the games channel. The questions were about #GRID , ROMA, DOBBY, and the latest developments.

Since I had to use a VPN to connect to Discord, I couldn't answer two questions, so I couldn't maintain my second-place position and finished the competition in 8th place.
