Markets aren’t “free” of rules; the rules define them.

The real question is whether the rules are set up to help the most people, or just the richest.

@ubuntu If @ubuntu and @gnome wanted to make such a significant UI change, why wouldn’t they give the option in settings to continue to use the old vertical workspaces? They have been used by their customers ever since the start of gnome 3.

@ubuntu Awful! Snap only browser packages without gnome shell support. Gnome shell 42 which removes horizontal workspaces. Horizontal workspaces on dual monitors is unpleasant to say the least. Super disappointed. After over 10 years with Ubuntu I will look for a new distro.

@gnome 40 horizontal workspaces is awful!!! Why? Hate it, it’s awful just like macOS. Workspaces are one of the amazing things Linux does so much better than the competition. Why take that away? #gnome
