Dear amazing followers, allow me to reintroduce myself. 🌱📚

Many of you know me as Tanaka of Tanaka Farm & Seedlings. A little secret, Tanaka is my son’s name. I’m Miyanda, a Recruiter by profession, I’ve spent over 22 years building my recruitment firm in Zambia.

Farming was my happy place. The soil, the seedlings, the conversations, the community, it became a beautiful chapter of my life. Sadly, that chapter was interrupted when the owner of the farm I was renting in Zimbabwe decided, without notice that he needed his land back. It was painful, costly and honestly heartbreaking.

I returned to my first love recruitment full time but the dream of creating something meaningful never leaves me.

You may have noticed a new X name and a new direction.
Welcome to The Curated Chapter Collection, a lifestyle brand built around curated books, beautiful gifts and thoughtful living.

And from this journey comes something very close to my heart:
The Curated Chapter Reading Initiative a community movement encouraging children, families and adults to swap some cell phone screen time for reading time and rediscover the joy of a good book.

So, join me on this new adventure. Let’s learn, laugh, share stories and build a beautiful community just like we did with farming.
And one day, when I finally raise enough money to buy my own piece of land you will find me back in my beloved gumboots.
