Combine the latest horrors emerging from Gaza below, with Netanyahu and Trump repeating calls to "end the Iran threat once and for all", and tell me we're not watching the consequences of war criminals acting with complete impunity.

And who gave them that impunity?

WE FUCKING DID!

I cannot stress enough how dangerous the world we're living in has become. And the greatest danger isn't Netanyahu, Putin, or even Trump.

There will ALWAYS be dictators. There will always be powerful men willing to break international law, launch illegal wars, enrich themselves and sacrifice thousands of innocent lives in pursuit of power and profit.

The real danger is that NOBODY IS STOPPING THEM!

What good are @IntlCrimCourt arrest warrants if nobody enforces them? What good is international law if the very governments claiming to defend it are complicit in its destruction?

And that brings me to our own government.

@andyburnham, this is YOUR government. YOUR responsibility.

You aren't burying your head in the sand. You're actively enabling this.

Our government continues to avoid recognising the genocide in Gaza, despite its obligations under the Genocide Convention to PREVENT AND PUNISH genocide.

But a genocide is a fucking genocide, whether you say it or not.

And now we're dragging our children into it.

The government's adoption of the antisemitism in schools report, and its push to embed the contested IHRA definition in education, turns the @educationgovuk into something akin to the Nazi's Reich Ministry for Public Enlightenment and Propaganda, an institution designed to shape what society was permitted to think.

Are we really reaching a point where our own children's education is being used to determine which truths about state violence are allowed to be discussed?

Meanwhile, @jeremycorbyn Gaza Tribunal has gathered evidence raising serious questions about Britain's role in enabling atrocities, but yet again, his request to launch a formal inquiry into the UK government's complicity has been rejected.

We're not just marking our own homework. We're saying "what homework!?"

Where's the accountability? Where's the independent scrutiny? Why should allegations of British complicity be allowed to disappear just because it's British?

And where are the @UKLabour MPs who claim to stand for Palestinian rights, who have said nothing publicly against these latest education proposals?

SILENCE IS NOT A POSITION OF NEUTRALITY WHEN YOU HAVE THE POWER TO ACT.

Here's a fucking newsflash.

Refusing to say the word genocide doesn't remove your legal obligations.

Ignoring arrest warrants doesn't make international law disappear.

And refusing to confront your own government's actions doesn't make you an innocent bystander.

COMPLICITY IS NOT JUST ABOUT WHAT YOU SAY. IT'S ABOUT WHAT YOU ENABLE.

Every crime left unanswered makes the next one easier.

Every arrest warrant ignored makes the next dictator bolder.

Every government that chooses political convenience over international law makes the world more dangerous for ALL OF US.

THIS IS HOW IMPUNITY BECOMES PERMISSION.

And history will not simply remember the men who committed these atrocities.

It will remember the governments that enabled them, the politicians who remained silent, and the institutions that helped manufacture consent.

We all see what's going on.

And we're not going to pretend otherwise.
