Let’s not make excuses for drivers anymore. Driving is not viewed as the serious responsibility that it is. Drivers have the ability to easily hurt or kill another person yet people drive more recklessly than ever.
In my 1 mile bike commute this evening (following the rules and riding in bike lanes when possible + fully visible with multiple lights), I encountered no less than 10 drivers whose poor driving behavior could have killed or injured me. And then the drivers glare at me 🙄

Agreed with the findings on the safety of solid lights over flashing, especially forward-facing at night. Also, be aware of the angle of lighting so as to be visible AND not be blinding any oncoming traffic.
