@FlexibleDemeanr@Kierkegaarddd I don’t think so, per se, they are just different kinds of knowledge. Advanced physics and mathematics, though complex, are theoretically able to be understood through rational processes. A fixed understanding of happiness seems to elude us, perhaps because one does not exist.
@FlexibleDemeanr@Kierkegaarddd I wouldn’t be so sure. Many of the smartest minds in history have struggled with the meaning and acquisition of true happiness.
In the light of #Easter, let us allow ourselves to be amazed by Christ! Let us allow our hearts to be transformed by his immense love for us! Let those who have weapons lay them down! Let those who have the power to unleash wars choose peace! Not a peace imposed by force, but through dialogue! Not with the desire to dominate others, but to encounter them!
“A man should hear a little music, read a little poetry, and see a fine picture every day of his life, in order that worldly cares may not obliterate the sense of the beautiful which God has implanted in the human soul.”
-Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
As true God and true man, Christ offers us the example of self-giving, service, and love. We need His example to learn how to love, not because we are incapable of it, but precisely to teach ourselves and one another what true love is. Learning to act like Jesus, who is the living sign that God has placed within the history of the world, is the work of a lifetime. #HolyThursday
