@DeanTTraining This is facts, I’ve cut from 230 to 190 the last 9 months and thought initially 185 would be the number. Closer I get the more I realize I’ve got another 10-15 to go.
@RipCitySquid Because the city of Portland owns the Moda center not the Trail Blazers. If you rent a home and it needs a new roof imagine the owner trying to make their tenant pay for that.
@bluetoughguy@colinokeefe Yeah long term Munoz will be fine but take some pressure off and give the guys who have been dominant a chance to take the load for a bit. Move Munoz to the 7th for a few weeks and see how he does.
@TridentTrue Noticed the same, even after his first two pitches in AB 1 where he came out hacking you could almost see the instant reset which led to solid contact albeit an out after working the count to 2-2
@dawg206 Absolutely agree however we are so left handed heavy. In that scenario Julio the only true righty. Would love to see a legit right handed hitter added.
@dawg206 Absolutely. Laz or Arroyo as the Randy replacement as I don’t see an extension there although personally wouldn’t be against it. Gotta do something about RF/DH. Good problem to have with the prospects knocking. Not all will pan out, hope the ones we keep do tho
@dawg206 My pipe dream is Celesten is a Lindor clone at the plate haha. Guessing we see Montes next year at some point and Celesten in 28, barring any major trades
@MarinerMuse At this point regardless if you’re calling him up it’s gotta be to stay. Let him work through it all. If he’s as good as they think he is, give him a long leash and reps
@MarinerMuse Yeah one bad inning but has really recovered well. Not worried about him. Hope they don’t use this as the “reason” to remove him from the rotation.
