@JonnElledge From my field, I would add ‘the Green Deal’. Brought in to boost energy efficiency of housing, flaws (e.g. 7% interest on loans) meant that barely anyone signed up to it and it sucked energy out of more effective energy efficiency policies.
@wallersaur @myenergiuk@EVPuzzle I have Intelligent Go and Zappi. It’s only been a few months so can’t give any metrics on cost comparisons, and I’ve got FiT so don’t get paid for export, but from a usage perspective, it’s been good. The Zappi just stays on Eco++ and it works.
@suburbanpirate@heatpolicyrich@ewan_chamings This was the study that led to the change in assumption to 1.7. Only looked at brick walls but in lots of detail. We opened up a number of walls which was really interesting. Lots of micro cavities from e.g. bricks being laid frog down. Saves on mortar!

@jamiesmart @garenewing That's a good first gig! Mine was Cast at Brighton Centre East Wing. Not quite as cool. I also played The Tunbridge Wells Forum, although just in a battle of the bands, probably in '96. The pinnacle of my music career alas.
@tomasmcguinness I’m definitely no expert 😊 but is there a rubber o-ring in there? I don’t even know if there’s supposed to be one but if there is, sometimes they get damaged.
@cjb_twit@_heatgeek Thanks. I’ve heard it mentioned a few times and figured it must be something in that area but great to have it explained so clearly!
@sarah_go_green I recently went to a Passive House open day. It was great. Might only run once a year though and no guarantee there’ll be one nearby but worth keeping an eye out for #iphopendays@PassivhausTrust
