Once upon a time, Tito Mboweni would post a whole chicken with enough garlic to kill vampires from here to Jupiter around this time, only to post it falling off the bone marrow at 23h17. Then an empty plate by midnight.
There are some friends you meet physically who are very energetic and jovial, with lots of gist.
They keep talking and smiling like you haven’t seen each other in years.
But the moment they get back home, you won’t hear from them, they won’t text or call.
They’re terrible at reaching out unless you do first. Yet, when you meet again, the same energy comes back.
Sometimes I wonder what’s wrong with this set of friends. 🤣
My grandma recently installed WhatsApp and thought that groups were meant for sorting contacts.
Long story short: She created a group called 'Unimportant' with about 15 relatives and acquaintances.

I think all girls high schools have both advantages and disadvantages, but for me, the advantages were more than the disadvantages. I attended an all girls school, and one thing it did for me was make me independent. I grew up depending on myself and my parents, not on relationships for survival. I learned how to do a lot of things on my own
Being around only girls also made me very emotionally aware. You learn how to read people, you can tell when someone is jealous, genuine, or just pretending. That environment really sharpened my emotional intelligence.
The disadvantage was that after spending six years around only girls, interacting with men felt awkward at first, especially when I got to university. Socializing didn’t come naturally, I had to learn it over time.
Still, I don’t regret it tho. It taught me self reliance and confidence. Even if I seem shy sometimes, I know I was raised in a way that made me strong and independent in my own right
South Africans are stingy with engagement, today ill engage with myself until I reach 1k comments in 3 hours. I wanna feel what its like to have 1k comments.🫂
