@PIDEpk proudly welcomed its 2026 Internship Cohort. 𝟏𝟒𝟎 outstanding interns selected from 𝟒,𝟖𝟖𝟑 applications, representing 𝟔𝟐 universities, diverse academic disciplines, and all regions of Pakistan, including Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, and Balochistan. The cohort comprises 𝟔𝟒 (45%) male and 𝟕𝟔 (55%) female interns.

The Orientation Session introduced interns to PIDE's research and policy ecosystem, followed by an inspiring inaugural address by Dr. Nadeem Javaid (SI) (@nadeemjavaid75), Vice Chancellor, PIDE, on "URAAN Pakistan: Challenges & Pathways."

Over the next five days, interns will engage with leading policymakers, researchers, and practitioners through intensive sessions on governance, data analytics, artificial intelligence, research ethics, leadership, and workplace professionalism; preparing them to become the next generation of policy leaders.
