@JDVance What about refunding the inflated prices that consumers have been paying since the start of the tariffs? What about tariffs imposed by previous presidents? Do those get refunded as well?

@Runix25@HardwareUnboxed 5/5 But as the temperature of the wire increases resistance the temperature of the insulation with decrease the wire resistance as the it rises. I'm not an electrical engineer so I can't say for sure if it's enough to cause what we saw or not.

If all six are connected it should mostly load balance itself because as wire heats up the resistance increases and since electricity follows the path of least resistance it should start pulling from other wires
@Runix25@HardwareUnboxed 3/ I am very curious why most of the current for the card in the debauer video ended up in one wire of the cable. It's possible he has a bad connection between the 6 pins where they are connected on the pcb, which would be Nvidia's fault.
@Runix25@HardwareUnboxed If you do the math the theoretical max that six 16 awg cables can hold is 1296 amps. If you follow the 80% rule that's 1036 watts. The flaky connections in all computer cables is probably why they only rate the cables for 600 watts. 2/
@Runix25@HardwareUnboxed If you look at the fe card they could have done that. I don't have one to test, I wish I did, but from what I've seen they only have 1 shunt resistor so basically all six 12v+ wires are bridged together. This is a common practice in high amperage cable runs. 1/
@MouseionScholar@HardwareUnboxed It's not really the size imo. I feel like it's the connection between the two pins more than anything. Computer cables are not very good from my electricial pov. I deal with high amperage industrial machines on a daily basis and having tight connections is very important.
